This February, we are focusing on [**Climate Coordination Network**](https://x.com/climate%5Fprogram?ref=crypto-altruists.ghost.io) (CCN), a project dedicated to accelerating blockchain-enabled climate solutions on a global scale to **catalyze diverse forms of climate action.** CCN is perhaps best known as the administrator of nine Gitcoin Climate rounds, through which they distributed over **$4.2 million** in funding to early-stage climate projects. Recently, [**it was also announced**](https://x.com/OctantApp/status/1882507838393548841?ref=crypto-altruists.ghost.io) that CCN will be partnering with Octant for their upcoming **Epoch 7**—Octant’s first-ever themed funding round, focused on climate solutions. Octant’s model allocates a portion of protocol-generated staking rewards in time-bound cycles, empowering community members to fund public goods projects.
